the Wave and the Particle is a Fremont-based quintet blending symphonic metal, industrial electronic, and progressive rock into a cyberpunk-inspired sound.
Fronted by vocalist Katharina and keyboardist/composer Vasiliy, the band delivers a tightly coordinated live show that stands apart in the Bay Area scene.
Their latest album Electric Sheep (WormHoleDeath, 2025) explores themes of transhumanism with heavy riffs, pulsing synths, and progressive structures.
With guitarist Chandra, bassist Alessandro, and drummer Abhiram completing the lineup, the Wave and the Particle is ready to bring their immersive sound and visuals to new stages.
